TV Channels Regional Affiliates

In 2025 many of the regional TV stations are serviced as affiliates. The receiving stations and affiliates then insert their own localised news and advertising.

• Channel 9's core programming is fibre-fed out of GTV Melbourne to its sister stations and affiliates, with TCN Sydney providing national news and current affairs programming. WIN Television in Wollongong acts as its regional affiliate in most markets.
• Channel 10's core programming is fibre fed out of ATV Melbourne to its sister stations and regional affiliates with TEN Sydney providing national news programming. Southern Cross Austereo in Melbourne acted as its regional affiliate in most markets until 2025, though in a contract dispute between Channel 9 and WIN Television, Southern Cross switched to broadcasting Channel 9 temporarily during 2015-2021 with WIN Television broadcasting Network 10 channels.

  On 12 March 2021, Nine announced it would return to WIN Television beginning on 1 July 2021, and Ten returned to Southern Cross.

  In March 2025 Southern Cross Austereo sold their licenses in Regional Queensland, Southern NSW/ACT and Regional Victoria to Network 10. In July 2025 Seven West Media acquired all remaining television stations.

• Channel 7's core programming is fibre fed out of HSV Melbourne to its sister stations and regional affiliates with ATN Sydney providing national news and current affairs programming.
